During the first week of my internship, I was pretty overwhelmed with the things we were supposed to do. There were several things that I didn’t know how to do like editing a webpage, creating different promotional materials, formally messaging organizations, a lot more. I thought that I would have a hard time during my internship. But thanks to my fellow school mates who are interning with me along with the guidance of Camille, our supervisor, they taught me how to do new things like deal with certain applications, how to respond to inquiries, and even taught me something that I thought I would never learn how to do which is to make a simple video.

Like the name suggests, I am studying the integration of countries like European Union and ASEAN. That is why I chose ACOPIA as my internship placement. Even if it is in a smaller scale, ACOPIA’s core purpose on international relation between South Korea and Japan is also a form of integration. As such, I believe that ACOPIA would provide me with the relevant knowledge and experience for my future.

During these two past weeks, I kept working on the promotion of the multicultural class as well as internship among the French speakers. I did the promotion through Facebook and various Facebook pages. I also informed my friends who are learning French if they would like to promote my class. I am now in a team with Camille, who is in charge of the internship program. I am the first contact of the internship applicants while Camille takes care of the details such as accommodation, training agreement or the date of start and end of the internship. I think we are efficient as we are working the two of us together but it is sometimes difficult because we don’t know if the other already contacts this applicant or not. That’s why we have to stay in touch continuously. As we added some new rules for the internship applicants, I updated the French version of our website. I also changed the layout of the French version so it is clearer.

My missions up until now have consisted of promoting the Kpop Camp and the upcoming classes we're gonna have starting from next month. Using different social networks has been quite interesting and communicating with people is always fun.
I'm really looking forward the incoming events we're going to hold to discover more.

Asia Hope Camp Organization allowed me to broaden my horizons and discover new aspects of Korean culture through participation in a camp in the countryside. I was also integrated into the daily life of the organization. I got to work with an international and dynamic team. They did everything for me to be the most comfortable as possible.

In addition, I discussed some very interesting issues especially with regard to communication and promotion of the camps. This internship was a great opportunity and I can not thank enough for ACOPIA its welcome.
